Born in 1886 in Capivari, São Paulo, Tarsila do Amaral's artistry has left an indelible mark on Brazilian modern art. Often hailed as the "Mother of Brazilian Modernism", her vibrant exploration of color, form, and cultural identity has transcended time, inspiring generations.
Many of her artworks are exhibited in renowned museums and galleries, carrying Tarsila do Amaral’s legacy across the globe and cementing her impact on the artworld. Celebrated for defining Brazil's artistic identity, these unique artworks challenged the artistic norms of her era in a male-dominated, Eurocentric art world.

In collaboration with the legacy of Tarsila do Amaral, we present a unique collection of digital art. By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, we're able to breathe new life into some of Tarsila's unfinished but iconic works.
Working closely with the collector and art curators, we are carefully rebuilding her legacy, ensuring they resonate not only with traditional art enthusiasts, but also the digital art community.
At Zeitls, our mission is to revolutionize the art world, preserving the rich history and intrinsic value of traditional artworks while introducing them to the boundless possibilities of the digital realm, and further global audiences.
We are creating new opportunities for museums by inviting art into the digital asset market, and reinvigorating this dormant asset globally. By building a decentralized and borderless art hub in the web3 space, we connect art enthusiasts, collectors, curators and aim to onboard a new wave of adopters through modern views.
These collections culminate in multiple Artverses, with the final vision being a panoramic and complete version of itself, harboring all of humanity’s treasures as History-Backed Tokens and making them accessible to a broader audience.
As of February 6th 2024, the project “The Variations of Tarsila do Amaral” will be paused for the time being.
An ongoing legal dispute questioning the authenticity of the unfinished drawings used as a base for our trained AI to generate the Variations. Currently we cannot release this project in good conscience, while potentially putting our collectors at risk. However, at this point in time we fully believe in the word of our partner Alìpio Neto, and we are confident that the authenticity of the unfinished drawings will be agreed upon.
We continue to believe in this project, and are committed to our mission of democratizing art, making it more accessible than ever.
Once the dispute has been settled, we are looking forward to the opportunity to relaunch the collection in the future. We hope to see you there.
